EVACUEE SUPPORT PLANNING GUIDE (JULY 2009)

During an evacuation, those needing to leave an at-risk or impact area may be able to do so using their own transportation resources (i.e., self-evacuees), while others without their own transportation may need assistance (i.e., transportation-assisted evacuees).  This document is designed to address the support needs of these evacuee populations and the planning needed by Host-States to do so.

EVACUEE AND SHELTER-IN-PLACE RESOURCES

Identifies relevant concepts, considerations, and principles that can inform jurisdictions in planning for evacuation and/or shelter-in-place protective actions.
