FEMA Review Council Report – Public Comment

The FEMA Review Council conducted a thorough review to ensure FEMA delivers swift, effective disaster response for Americans. The Council provided actionable recommendations to streamline federal response to national emergencies.

The FEMA Review Council released their final report on May 7, 2026. The report will be open for public comment until June 8, 2026. We value and appreciate mass care practitioners’ insights to help shape the future of FEMA. You can find all their documents that the DHS FEMA Review Council site.

Members of the public may submit comments on the final report through the following methods:
